WARNING: Counterfeit Cels

Here is another thing of suspicious activity to note about the Guardians of Good owner.


I already provided proof via links that this person very recently still had in his possesion the Snake eyes cel currently up for bid on ebay. It was still showing in his gallery even though a different seller had it up for bid on ebay. He has since removed it from his gallery after I posted a link to it.


GoG's regular ebay ID is (productioncels). The seller of this cel is (drbarker). So if GoG just sold this cel to the seller,which is how it appears. Then why is he currently bidding on it? Yes the ID's are scrambled but you can tell by the feedback number who someone is. GoG's ebay ID (productioncels) has 865 feedback. You can look this up for yourself. You can easily see where he had bid the auction up to $500. He was also bidding on this cel in the first auction as well. So is he just doing this to jack up the price for the seller? Or is he also actually the seller using another ID and jacking up the price on his own auctions?

This is not on the topic and you're making a lot of broad assumptions to make GoG a villian.

I'm starting to think you're just on a witch hunt to damage GoG's credibility for personal and most likely petty reasons.

wow it didn't hit me until just now. This person must just want to fight and argue , come on now all these posts are started by mace and GOG has not said a word. If it were me I probably would have had a flame war with this mace person . But GOG is right not posting why should he give mace that satifaction . It is kind of funny it seems mace is just fighting about these cels alone . A one sided fight how funny is that . Mace If I were you I would just give it up. Why are you so hell bent on destroying GOG reputation . My two cent is stop.

Actually I do think this pertains to the topic. Am I not correct in the fact that he is bidding on this cel that he "supposedly" just sold to the ebay seller? Does the proof I just supplied not support that? Why would he be doing that? I think the reason is clear. To jack the price up.

I am also inclined to believe that the seller (drbarker) is actually an alternate ebay ID for GoG. I think he created this ID to sell these "counterfeit" cels. That way if the authenticity of them is ever questioned the blame doesn't directly go back to him personally.

I could very well be wrong in this assumption but thats what I believe. Take it or leave it.

And I do take this whole situation VERY PERSONALY. When someone is trying to purposefully contaminate my hobby by passing off reproduction cels to either myself or other collectors it's going to upset me.
