Your first cel-

What a great post! I like this question a lot because I'm always curious about this kind of thing.

We haven't been collecting cels for very long, but we are really enjoying it quite a bit. Our first cel was purchased from eBay in late 2004. From Giant Robo the animation OAV series. Features Daisaku Kusama standing in Robo's hand.

We both love it immensely and will probably never sell it. ^_^

It arrived while I was suffering from a nasty stomach flu, and my roommate bringing this to me, really made my day. ^_^ This cel is very very special to me.

my first cel was the pilot cel from macross II i bought at anime-expo, just before the release of the video in the states, for 75 dollars. i admit i was caught up in the hype of the release cause the cel is pretty plain to me now. still have it though since it was also the first cel i matted and framed myself.
