Your first cel-

My very first cel was of Lebia Maverick from Silent Mobius.

In about 1997 or so, I went to my first anime convention and a dealer there was selling anime cels (I think the dealer was Kikiwai).
I saw this cel and the colors were so vibrant and the image filled the entire thing. I had to have it.

I knew nothing about cel collecting or even the show for that matter. I just loved the image and it was only $50.
Definitely an impulse buy, but I don't regret it and the cel will always be in my possesion.

Even when I quit cel collecting for a while, I held onto this one. I love it a lot :3
This cel got me into cel collecting the first time and it got me back into it again! XD

Oh yeah, I always wonder why Silent Mobius isn't more sought after. I know the series isn't all that popular but the cels are fantastic.
The colors in all the cels from this series I've scene are vibrant and gorgeous.

I bought it at the first anime convention I ever went to. $80 seemed like a lot at the time but I just couldn't walk away from it. If I only knew then what I know now . . . yeah, I'd still buy it. ^_^ I've met way too many nice people through this hobby to give it all up. One can always make more money.

It's still with me and always will be.

I was so excited by it that I insisted that my family members all see where it came from in the show. And it was pretty cheap, too, so I thought that all cels were cheap. Well, I know better now!
