Your first cel-
My very first cel was a GORGEOUS cel of Cooan from my favorite Sailor Moon episode, #70! She is still my most precious cel and I will never part with her! I love the way the background looks, it makes the entire scene somewhat whispy. I purchased her from Millennium Cels a loooong time ago...6 years I think!
Here she is! Image is small...I should rescan!

My fist cel was of Usagi from Sailor Moon. I bought her off Ebay a while ago. I paid a bit for her, but I didn't care at the time because it was my first cel and I had wanted one for a long time. I don't think i could ever part with her. She is my favourite. I love her expression. I can't wait to find the episode she is from.

It was exactly a week before my 23rd birthday last November and I noticed her on Mandarake auctions and decided that she would be a wonderful birthday gift for myself.
I was still learning about cels and about the animation process; so, I wasn't sure how to she'd look in person. I placed the bid; and, on the night of my birthday--I won her. :P You wouldn't believe how happy I was walking out my college's ITS center! Then, I struted off to my evening class to take a test.
I had made a birthday wish to own a picture of this character and there she was on--out of the blue, out of nowhere, and I got my wish^^.
I adore this cel and I it would be hard for me to part with her.

I actually bought three cels in one purchase when I first started collecting - unfortunately I don't remember for sure what two of them are. Everything I bought prior to opening this gallery tends to blend together in my mind. However, I DO remember one of the cels in that first lot of three, which is this one:

I was very clearly doomed from cel 1.
These are all such interesting stories! I really enjoy reading about the different pieces of art that introduced people to this wacky hobby.
