What's the most $$ you spent on a cel?

Well..Lets see the most I have paid for a cel would have to be over the $1000 dollar mark.

The cel is still with me but I dont know for how much longer. Since im slowly getting out of collecting.

Looking back at my response from yrs ago I wish $350 was still the most expensive cel purchase. LOL!
To date, the most I've spent on a sketch set was a birthday gift to my hubby which was $1,300.
And the most I've paid for a cel for myself is $860.
Dont regret either thou. I love em and I saved up
for the nice luxury! ^_~

So far $400 is my most expensive. But then again my budget doen't allow me to go overboard. I guess if I didn't have tuition to pay for, I would go over the $1000. Speaking of which, I really want a Lodoss cel. Also what I've noticed is the increase in price since I started collecting 3 years ago. I've started avoiding places like YahooJapan because 1.the prices the cels reach 2. the fees the deputy service companies want. You calculate it. It gets insane

At the moment, my highest is $190. Wouldn't be nearly that bad if it weren't for the crappy exchange rate I got at the time of purchase (something like 96yen=$1). I haven't bought anything in a few months . . . is it still that bad?

My next two come in at $150 and $130. Most of my purchases are under the $100 mark, and a lot I picked up for less than $20 . . .

EDIT: Though, going back and checking my first answer, I did in fact cross the $100 mark before graduating. Oh, how the hobby sucks us in. :P

Hehe. I used to complain whenever I spent 3 figures, I'd love everything to be 99 or lower. Now it's not unheard of for me to spend 4 figures.
