What's the most $$ you spent on a cel?

The most I have spent on a cel is $400 for this set up of Gene from Outlaw Star:

It was a major wishlist of mine, as well Key-End with original Production Background, sketches and layout sketch. It also has 5 or 6 cel layers. It's nothing but pure love for me. ^_^

I know I went overboard on it, but I do loves it. :)

Although I'm mostly a funny scene collector I have purchased some more expensive cels. I've been lucky in that I've kept within my limit of $400 per cel for the past year. When I first started out over two years ago, I was hesitant to spend $100 on any cel.

But I broke my $400 limit twice this past month. Neither are in my gallery yet (one won't be until May...sniff), but respectively my two most expensive cels have been $1K and $420. Quite a big jump between the 1st and 2nd most expensive! The $1K is a rare Harmony scene of Cosmos that only appears for a brief period in Stars, so to me I think it's worth the money.

Well, since I'm pretty broke already I can't go for the super expensive cels..Although sometimes I'm tempted :3

The most I've spent so far is $200 USD (I live in Canada, so it's a bit more).
I felt that was a bit expensive..but reading how much others have spent..I think this one was cheap XD

Oh yes, it was for a very pretty cel of Yue from Card Captor Sakura. I hardly ever see closeups of him, usually they are full body..so I had to get this one. :3

My first cel was $6 that was about six months ago now i just spent $350 on 1 so thats the highest. When i first started i would not even go over $100 now i have spent about $1800 (on lots of different cels) in just a month this is really getting too addictive.

Does a hanken count? Single handedly spent three times my most expensive cels on them. Technically, as a set of three, I only spent the exact same amount agian: $500. But you know me, I was spending that $1500 on the Ichigo.
Thanks to Pudge, I got to spend that on TWO Ichigos!!! *faints*

I am soooo done now.
