Alas, that is probably not true. Don't mean to rain on your parade but the reality is most of the blackhole collectors are rich too. Even if you had a few millions, it wouldn't entice these type of collectors to sell their collections to you. Often times these same people aren't looking for monies but other rare items they want. Monies alone isn't enough.

i was outbidded by two sellers, one from rinkya and another from another deputy service... i froget which service it was though. oh well -_- lol

i wasnt refering to buying cels from people who wont sell them. i meant having enough money to buy everything i liked that came up on ebay or offers from collectors.
i have seen many many beautiful cels on auctions alone. some of which were just too far out of my grasp money wise.
lollypopanimation.com have several Akira pieces i'd love. but the prices are just WAY out of my league!
one piece, Tetsuo on the operating table thing,(which i actually have the top layer of, and it only cost me $80) is ?1500 stearling. which is what, nearly $3000?
although this is all utterly hypothetical, as i'm not a millionare, and never will be :D
