who's outbidding you?

lately i find im always tied between putting a big proxy at the start, or leaving it till the very last second. put it at the start you wont accidently forget about the auction. but the auction generally goes for a higher price.

anyone ever try emailing the seller on an off chance they they might end it the auction early? i did that recently with my Tetsuo bloody foot cel with original background and got it all for $60.

you must be talking about ebay, not YJ, right?

For me, it is ALWAYS a Japanese bidder. Maybe I have obscure tastes, but it's always an ID that I don't recognize as deputy when I check on something. Once I did see a SMJ bid on a Daa! Daa! Daa! cel I would've liked, but I didn't have the money at the time to bid.

Either that, or a store owner that later puts the cel on Ebay at an inflated price. THAT is what irks me the most.

yeah ebay, its been pretty good this year with bringing up cels i want.
although, lately the flow seems to have stopped.
this is something that happens every time. there will be a dry spell of maybe a month or two with nothing, and then all of a sudden 5+ cels will come up at once that i want.
about three weeks ago there were 30 Akira cels on ebay at once.
30! i'd been waiting two months before hand for anything, even the smallest thing..then that happens.
to say i was slightly irked is an understatement :D

i hope you had enough money to get the ones you wanted most. lately there have been many that i want... but if there is one buyer that is willing to spend 200 on a cel and another buyer wanting to spend 200 on another cel i want... there is no way i can afford neither of those, especially at the same time. u_u at least... not right now. lol
