who's outbidding you?

That d*** extension....

Although, it's something that grows on you. When you come out on top after a fierce bidding war that's gone long past the auctions scheduled "end" time, you do feel very vindicated. And often very broke.

On an off topic note, I recently bid on some eBay auctions after about a year or so of exclusively using YJ, and I lost most of them because I forgot about that sniping thing... >_<

That extension, yeah, but I've only experienced the one that goes two minutes at a time. Although it ended up going about twenty minutes past. I just kept going back and forth with someone.
Again, no clue who it was, and I don't really care, got that thing in my sights... ~_^
I've done that a couple times really.

Anyway, Celga Gold account users get their own name as well. I do. ^_^ I got it specifically to be able to do that bidding war on a particular cel. But by the time I got the account all set up and ready to go (which really wasn't very long at all), the cel I'd wanted had been pulled without any bids! ><

Knowing if someone who is bidding against you is using a DS doesn't mean much to me. I find if someone is bidding against me, if it's domestically or internationally... either way once I reach my limit I am out. Having a unique username doesn't help me win or gain anymore advantage bidding on YJP IMO.

As for the damn time extensions, the worst I got into was for half an hour AFTER the scheduled ending time. Man I was pissed the SOB kept fightingme, but in the end I won, so frack him. I came, I sniped, I kicked the oppositions butt.

People have mentioned having competition from certain bidders (ID's) from YJ. I have the same problem with what I believe is a japanese collector with a deep wallet as well. This person ALWAYS outbids me for awesome Dragon Quest cels. I become a nervous wreck when this person comes along because I know what the outcome of the auctions will be. >.<

i tend to forget about cels i want on ebay... there were two recently that i was determined to win. well.. one of them i REALLY wanted... and they went for cheap too... i just forgot... i had a wedding cake to make that day and wasnt sure if it ended around 6pmish or 10pmish... of course when i checked around 8pm it was already over... u_u

I like the usagi/luna cel you have in your gallery... i would ask "how much" but im clenching everything dollar i have and sparing no money anywhere because i want to win all of the cels i want... o_O haha
