When Should A Gallery Be Deleted?

I think if what Startyde suggests were to happen (current email and at least one cel), the whole idea of deleting a gallery would become a non-issue. Of course it's really hard to force users to keep a valid email address on accounts, but here's an idea: allow users to set up an email address strictly for the feedback function and then have them provide a confidential email address for communication with site admins/mods. ^_~

Fully agree with you there startyde. That's the main issue, galleries that are open but contain nothing in them(for months). You should change the first new rule to production art instead of cels though. And a valid/up to date email address is good as well at least for when an admin. needs to contact you.

BTW, I didn't know you were a mod here(or I've been away from the forums for too long).

Ya, that's what I get for binge drinking with the RS pack years ago. Wake up broke, pantsless and a Mod. Go figure. Though I do miss the pants.

Like others before me, I don't think that galleries should be closed for inactivity. Empty ones, maybe. After all, they may not be empty at all--maybe the curator has just password protected or hidden all their cels. :P

I would imagine that even artwork hidden to us is visible to mods or admins, klet. I hope. ^^;
