Collecting cels - relationship builder?

After collecting for about three years now, my husband actually ASKED me to buy him some Dilbert cels!!! O_o

This is interesting information ladies, thanks for sharing. I wonder though how many people met someone and this could strictly be in the dating stages through cels? I.e. attending cons and you both reached for the same cel books? I know not quite as romantic as the scene from Lady & the Tramp but still, little shared moments often are the most memorable.

I'm curious now as well, who has met and fell in love because of cels. I know of one couple who are together now because of RS/Beta, not sure of any others tho.

I'm also quite curious to hear from some guys on the topic.

My love interest was fairly indifferent towards this hobby until I purchased a few cels for him. Heh. These days he seems genuinely interested in the weird art I've wasted my money on.
