update limits

If we were to limit the number of update announcements allowed for a single gallery in a week, what would you think would be the ideal number?

Two. Nice little even number.

This would be a user choosable update, right? Otherwise groupings of cel additions would lead to later cel additions in a week being unpublicized (i.e. if a user adds a couple cels in a morning and a couple cels in an evening, if they control when the update goes through, all those cels can be in the gallery when the announcement goes up, and therefore all get publicized; if the user doesn't have control over when the update kicks in, bunches of their additions may go unseen).

I agree on two, that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this. Technically, I can't see why you need more then one in a week but, some people do get a lot of cels in every week.

I was fine with this, until I realized I won't be able to do my Twelve Days of Christmas update once a day if we cut it back to twice a week.

Any chance you can delay the implementation until after the holidays?

Just me being greedy.
