Your first cel-
My first cel, Tamahome running (you old timers are probably sick of seeing it!):

I ran into it while searching ebay for anything Tamahome. Didn't know anything about cels back then, but it didn't take me long to catch the fever! (and lose all my money!)
I spent just under $300 for my Hot Gojyo Genga, and that was the start of our 'allowance' system. >_<
My first cel purchase was actually buying a Christmas present for a RS member that I know in real life. But since I was buying it from Anime Museum, I figured "hey, it's costing me $12 in shipping, I'd better buy something else!"
...so I bought 2 IY sketches and an IY cel. I sold the cel a few years ago, but I still have the sketches.
I blame my entire addiction on Weyrlady (and she knows it).
I long sold my Vegeta cel. *sigh* Yes, a DBZ character as my first cel!
$75 was such a large amount of money when I bought that. It seems a trifle compared to what I have now. I'm such a cel-addict, gotta get stronger fixes each time. >.<
My first cel was Shuten in his monk robes looking over his shoulder. It's also the most expensive cel in my gallery.
My first cel is this one, titled, surprisingly enough, "My First Cel":

I bought it from Anime Chaos back when they sold cels directly.
The one interesting thing, though (interesting to me anyway), is that I had planned a different cel to be my first. I saw it on a private collector's site for sale, and sent them an e-mail about it. I never got an answer though, and after not seeing any forum posts or changes in their collection change for a long time, I figured they were away from the hobby. Then I saw them starting to post again in the forums, so I contacted them. The bottom line is that I ended up with that cel anyway - it just didn't have the honor of being my first. It's this one from the Sailor Moon R Movie:
