I got a feed-back were someone asked me to change my gallery from "E" to something else, because he said it looked like it promoted drugs!

As in E = "Ectasy"...

Yes it is sad, but sometimes dealing with the public is well, ... "dealing with the public"

In general they are dumb and stay that way for a quite a while unfortunately.

It used to happen to DBZ and FY collectors all of the time. They can tell ya! It stunk up the place so bad, some people even quit collecting because of it. This was years ago, but the stain remained for quite some time.

My advice is to not give-in. They eventually get tired with themselves. It is really hard to stand around and be an idiot for too long.

Giving them more attention is asking for more of them to come out and slime'ya.

Farts come and go, don't let the smelly ones ruin your day... It's all hot air. Move on with your lovely and cherished galleries.

There is one thing I want to say.... I know how it is. When I get some flaming email, I feel so horrible all day....

My hanshi (kenjutsu teacher) told us that there are many things you cannot control, like other ppl. But there is one thing you can control, your feelings. You can only control yourself. This is very tough (like I said I know how it is. I am soooooooo emotional person and I get very upset easily....).
So my hanshi said meditate (take deep breath) if you have a bad situation or stressful situation. I try to do and it seems working ;)

Yeah, your hanshi is right, but so are you. Flame mails/threads (<-I know how it is) are horrible to deal with, but you always have to draw a line somewhere:
When it's personal flames which are directed at YOU, it's ok to be hurt.
But when it's flames directed at the CEL, discard them. I mean, if people think my cels suck, that doesn't mean they hate ME for being who I am. It's only my sheets of painted plastic that are being insulted. Don't confuse an opinion/flame about something you own with an opinion/flame about yourself. If someone tells you that your car's ugly, what then? Stop driving?

For example:
"Hey a-hole, your cels are so ugly I go blind, shove them up your a-!"
I can deal with that. Just some vulgar jealous kid who needs a beating from their parents.

"Hey a-hole, you're ugly and you stink, you're good for nothing and your parents should be ashamed."
I can't deal with this. I either feel bad all day - or longer, I'm just as touchy as you - or I flame back and go completely GRRR.

I'm curious to read some of those flame mails. They must be really terrible seen how actively they're being discussed...

If some people really stopped collecting as E said, there's not only something wrong with the people flaming them. I mean, just because others don't like what I'm dedicating my leisure to, doesn't mean I have to quit. It's ridiculous and that kind of people lack so much confidence they have "Flame me!" written all over their forehead. People who quit something they're passionate about just because they're being bullied in a way they can IGNORE it, are not being targeted, they MAKE themselves target because they do what the flamer hopes to obtain.
