printing backgrounds on paper

That's a pretty cool cel. This will sound cheesy, but I can remember that scene exactly when I see that cel. Keep in mind that I haven't seen Ghost in the Shell (the movie) in maybe 4 or 5 years.

Do they still have Tektronix printers in the Kinko's or have the switched to something else? And speaking of which, is there anyone else getting good use out of these or is it only a rare few who are downloading these? Just curious to see our idea is panning out. 200dpi really seems like enough, though, since watercolors by nature are kinda fuzzy-looking anyway.

I have been downloading to print my stuff at home. I finally got new ink and printed the Vivid sunset to use with my Mosquiton.

Thanks
Foechadan for donating that background.

The Kinko's I went to was using a Xerox Phaser 7700 color printer. I'm not too sure if that is standard for all stores though...

The cel is one of my favorites in my colection. I think the background made it look a lot better. I'd like to get more backgrounds for my cels now that I've seen the results of getting a few backgrounds. Even if they don't match exactly, it still makes the cels stand out better.

Let me know if we want to keep adding backgrounds to the gallery. I just got in 150 cels with backgrounds and some of them are pretty cool. I'd love to share them, but if nobody is going to use them, I could use the time better getting my new cels added to my gallery...
