printing backgrounds on paper
Howdy gang.
If there is a Fry's electronics store near you, I highly recommend that you head down there and pick up the Canon i455 on special. It's $30 for a photo printer. That's dirt cheap. The quality is pretty good. The ink is cheap ($7 for a cartridge instead of $30+).
I just printed a few backgrounds on some of Canon's Matte Photo paper after I picked up that dirt cheap printer myself. They look great. I'll try to do a write up on exactly how to do this if you'd like to do it from home. I know I said I'd head to Kinko's and see how much it costs to get it done professionally, but I haven't had time.... I'll post both methods for getting backgrounds out of the shared gallery and onto paper eventually.
Ironically I bought an i455 earlier this week, though it cost me a bit more than $30 here in England.
Great printer though, Fast, Quiet and excellent print quality.
Already posted a cel with a background from the shared gallery (thanks Uende) printed on it.
Can you guess which one?
Wow, you weren't kidding that printer is good!
I went to Kinko's today while running errands. The guy at the store told me that they would print up to an 11"X17" for $1.50 on card stock. This would be having them use their laser printer to print out the backgrounds. I'm gonna try getting them to print a couple of backgrounds next weekend and see how they look...
