Which scenario is worse?
I only had it happen once and I was pretty mad at myself over it :
I was a little perturbed over the outcome of an auction and in the aftermath of the first auction, I missed/forgot about a second auction that ended ten minutes after the first one.

I think it feels worse when you lose it at the last minute...That's what happened to me when I bid on a Sailor Moon Rini cel, from when she goes to the future and kneels for her parents. I've wanted that shot for 2 years....I lost it at the LAST Second...
If you forget the auction, than you can assure yourself that since you forgot it, it didn't reall mean a lot...
The worst:
Okay, today I found a gorgeous (need I say expensive?) cel on a one-day auction...
and I just don't have the money for it!
Waaaaaaahhhhh!!!!
If I had kids, I'd probably sell them for the cel.
(looks slyly over at the cat... nope, would only be able to sell him for a few dollars...)
(husband...hm...he might fetch a few more dollars...)
Damn those Kenshin cel prices!!!
...anybody want a slightly used kidney?
Getting outbid at the last minute. Because that seems to happen more often that me forgetting. That particular auction will have 10 seconds left, and I won't have a chance to bid again.
