The Official Ban Request Thread
A lot of galleries have trade/offer/ebay sections, and as far as I know it isn't against the rules.
Sales is a bit tricky.
As long as members don't but something like '$100' under their cel image to indicate it's for sale it's okay. A sign of 'for offer' is okay too.
Also, no direct linking to Rubberslug is allowed to sell on ebay or related auction sites.
If you're selling an item in the Rubberslug shop, just make sure you're not also selling/auctioning the same item elsewhere. It'll be a mess if two people end up winning/buying the same item. And in our rules, the person who buys the item from our shop has a priority to getting their items or the seller will be banned. Sounds harsh, but we just want to avoid as much trouble as we can.
The point is to not open a Rubberslug gallery JUST to sell. It's sad to use Rubberslug as an advertisement tool. :(
We understand the unfortunate circumstances do happen to people, forcing them to sell parts of the collection. But if you follow the above rules, then you should be okay. We want to believe that members here are here to share their collection and not abusing Rubberslug for the sole intent of selling.
Phew! That was a mouthful for just waking up! If anyone needs something cleared up or has a question, feel free to email me or JWR. ^_^
