We now have a funky points system to rank site participation. Someday, these points will be able to cash in to something useful. We still have to balance it out so don't be alarmed if your points fluctuate madly up and down for the next week or so. The formula is super duper secret, but just about everything you can do on the site will eventually play some part in your point total.

It's not calculated on the fly right now until we can strike a good balance. As a hint, some of the factors involved in the calculation include forum posts, rankings/visits of fellow members' galleries, and the amount of time you've been an active member.

Useful? Not terribly useful at the moment, but everyone like collecting points. Even if they don't know what they're for. Perhaps access to super duper top secret site features? We'll see.
