That was an incomplete balancing. Every rating should have some effect, but ratings that are outside the bell curve should have less of an effect. I'll get back to this soon, but I realized I was wasting an undue amount of time on a "non-function".

The next time I rebalance, I'll probably make it so that the ratings don't update instantly so one can't use some simple algebra to reverse engineer a formula.
