I know it's off topic but has anyone here noticed that if you give someone all 10's for their gallery rating that none of the averages change. WHy is that? I gave a friend all 10's(shame on me) to help out their rating and nothing changed but the ballot total.

Jason instituted a "ratings weighting" scheme to help cut down on vote stuffing, as it were. Some people were handing out all-ones ratings to be difficult...and I suppose an all-tens rating is just as bogus as an all-ones. I know he is still tinkering with the formula, but in the meantime I suggest changing the ratings on your friends gallery to reflect your true feelings. One shouldn't rate a gallery unusually low or unusually hiugh just to try and correct a perceived incorrect rating. Don't let the current numbers influence your own rating, or we might as well just get rid of them, as they will be meaningless.
