thumbnail maker fixed

Are any Mac people having any trouble getting thumbnails to come out correctly?

I have a Mac, and so far no problemos. I upload with jpegs and use the "make thumbnail" option on Rs. So, may I ask what is the problem is for you?

Oops. Sorry about that. "Ooga" is my test account I was trying to make stuff work under. It seems that the owner of Vapalla's Cels can't get the thumbnail maker to work.

I haven't done any research on the problem yet other than making sure stuff basically works on my side. I'll try to experiment with the file itself and see if maybe Macs stick something weird in their JPG files that my new thumbnail maker doesn't understand.

Okay, I think I've discovered the problem. The thumbnail maker will *not* work if you have an image in the thumbnail slot.

Make sure you delete whatever is in the thumbnail slot or else the server will not generate a thumbnail. I guess it refuses to overwrite by default. I'll try to change that, but for now the simple workaround appears to be that you have to click "delete" on the thumbnail before making a thumbnail.
