I would expect that having a mod review and approve is just a safeguard in case someone chose to attempt a non work safe image.

The Featured images do display on a rotating basis on the front page that is viewable to all who visit.

We have to have some approval process because it's going to be splashed really big on the front page and the moment that someone puts boobies in their feature gallery, it's going to cause a problem for people.

On a less dramatic note, people will upload pictures that are too small and need to be blown up, pictures of ham sandwiches, pictures of things that aren't original artwork, and any of a number of other reasons which should be cause enough. Hitting "approve" every few days should be easy enough.

No, you can only put boobies that we approve.

Will we also be able to choose the images that we want in the small thumbnails that appear next to our gallery name when pulled up by anime title? And if so, will these also have to be approved by a moderator?

Also, will we be able to upload a tiny version of our banner for the little square that appears next to our user ID when organized by anime title?
