I agree with grEenLeaF about the gallery of the month idea. That would be neato!

Only thing I can think off hand that I would like is a maybe new subject in the forum or some spot somewhere with a check this out deal. Like, oh heres a great anime albulm, I think you should listen to it. Or here is a good artbook ect ect ect.

I'll try to find a way to put this in so you can commence buttering up your favorite moderator to add you to their "list".

It'll be on the "list galleries by catagory" thing.

Two more random suggestions to throw in the mix:

- pointless trinkety graphics badges: little graphics to designate galleries/curators, awarded by both users and moderators. (moderator's choice, 10k hits, best thematic collector, etc.) Easy to do, but requires that I make a bunch of icons. They'll probably be displayed with the feature gallery graphics and next to the gallery name during an update.

- blog. how many people want a blog? It's a really easy upgrade, but it won't get done unless there's a demand for it. I'd like to keep focusing on the RS v2.0 stuff to a point where I can build a website with it so I can show some screenshots and keep all you folks interested in our site.

- Third thing (I'm Grand Poobah, I'm allowed to add three things to two-item lists): If a whopping 39% of you have never heard of DEPECHE MODE then good golly, what do you listen to? Don't be shy, I like everything at least a little. I'm really curious.

- Fourth thing, I'm really abusing the Grand Poobah thing now: Old polls need discussion threads. Polls needs their own forum.

ps - I'm going to code up user "titles" right now, just so I can call myself Grand Poobah. Woot.

User titles are now available under "general user info".... or whatever that button is called.

And spinizuey is right, why do all these messages need titles? Musta been kinda drowsy when I was writing this. I'll vaporize that someday. Right now "reply" and "new message" use the exact same procedure so it'll take both of my brain cells to write around that.

(It's an extra-creepy programmer thing to pick up something you wrote a few years ago and try to figure out what you were thinking at the time...)

Acutally Spinizuey I was born in 1985. And I havent heard of Depeche Mode either... But I really havent heard many Europop groups, much less can I remember any bands from the 80s in the United States and my age on top of that explains why I havent heard them. I'll download a couple of their songs to see if I like the music or not.
