Time limits for new galleries
Yeah, I've run into some galleries with nothing in it. Sheesh, what a let down. >.> I agree with the time limit.
Weeds were pulled from the garden today.
There were quite a few galleries that got zapped! Most of them were related to DBZ (as usual), but some were not. Everyone should have received an e-mail stating the reasons why they cannot access their "once-upon-a-time" creation. Although, I attempted to contact everyone so far affected, many people have submitted false e-mail addresses, no e-mail address, or have made a mistake when supplying them. If you are one of those people then you can e-mail me and I can tell you why your gallery was shut-down. You probably already know why-->no cels, some over 6 months...and not a single cel uploaded.
As far as time goes, I drew the line at around 6 weeks or one and a half months. This means that their were no galleries checked in April and the latter half of March at all.
I have gone through about half of RS. The deeper I go, the longer the period of time that cels have not been uploaded to get a gallery started. That's all for now.

Sorry, I am very sleepy (Japan time). But, just to be clear..Galleries that were started from mid-March of this year, up until now, were not checked for cel uploads. I am working backwards in time, so by the time I finish I will be reviewing galleries that started at the very beginning of RS.

Sorry for the typing errors...
ZZzzzzzzz...good-nite ^-^
Thank you for taking the time to do this. I've stopped by some of those galleries and it was such a let down. If someone hasn't uploaded cels after a week then they should expect to have the gallery closed! If you want, post this information when they join up or in the FAQ section somewhere. That will give new members a heads up.
Again thanks for taking the time to clean up around here! ^_~

Hi thanks for your response, I was starting to feel like a "bad guy" for cleaning the place up ^-^.
So, far we have closed around 65 "non-sites". And for the record, I have not received a single e-mail complaint from the "creators". I am almost finished with the back-log, but I need help from the other mods/admin to decide "how long" a timit limit should be set. I set one in general with this "round-up", at six weeks lag time to be generous, but is that too much?
Also, I am just waiting for a little while to see if there is any negative feedback coming from this last wave of closures...So far, there have been "zero" on the negatives and lots on the positive. I hope that it stays that way..(Keeping my fingers crossed).
