Finally, glad you got your cel safely but without the tracking your paid for that is just lucky! Lucky for the irresponsible seller that is b/c you paid for it and they failed to include it whether it was accidental or not does not matter.

Anyone else think we should create a rating feature or at least pin a questionable seller/buyer list? I think we could use one as well as a blacklist. Thooughts? Thanks.

As to a rating system or "black List". That is not something RS will be involved with.

As Jason has said , private sales between adults are their own business and those that partisipate in them do so at their own risk. Disputes that happen because of them will not be policed by the Mod's. RS does wish to discourage such sales because of the lack of protection inherrent and has provided the RS shop which can provide the protections at no fees.

RS will only get involved in transactions that occur through the shop. Those that it is proven to have violated the rules involving shop transactions will be banned.

I agree about not involving RS with private sales outside of RS, but sales conducted through the RS shop should be a different matter entirely.

Creating a pinned warning thread for existing RS members considering a transaction with another RS member via the shop can be helpful. I concur if an existing RS user has violated the RS shop rules they should be banned.

However once banned unless the information is recorded and made available to existing users, there is no way to warn RS users about the shady individual. To clarify yes I am suggesting adding the real name for the banned user.

Just my ten cents. Thanks for listening.

I'm not really up on the rules of the RS shop because I've never listed anything before. What exactly does RS do to protect a buyer if a transaction goes sour? Is banning the seller the final solution? Because people can make new email accounts and IP addresses.
