"featued gallery" improvement

Just was curious. Was thinking of asking for a second feat gallery pic or to exchange the one I have now.

I didnt click much, just like a previous post mentioned, seems some galleries are always posted lol. Though sadly I dooo like to click sometimes to view new ones...I need a life or something

Why don't you just cycle out featured galleries say every three or four months? If you want to renue, it's a good chance to change the gallery pic. It also will trim out those who are inactive due to lack of interest.

Eh, I don't really want to do rotations. That's just too time consuming. I'd hate to make one of those little images and it gets shown for a few months and gets trashed.

I dunno, I guess we'll continue to think about it. I won't do anything yet, it was just an idea I had while I was doing the feature gallery things a little while ago.

Maybe, since people either a)forget what image they used for thier feature gallery image.. or b) for people who actually want to SEE thier gallery image for some odd reason... maybe you could put this somewhere in the member home page... like a "featured gallery image" section under "gallery images".. Like..I noticed that when you create the feature gallery image, I can look at it when you give me the url. So maybe you can include these urls when we log in? So we can access them? You could also make a little check box to click if you want them to be seen any longer/be in rotation. That could be helpful for people who have sold the cel they featured.. etc.

I know that idea is completely disjointed.. i hope it makes SOME sense to you. ttyl :)

(p.s. I like the new images to the left! Great touch .. much more colorful in here now. :D )

I like the idea of sort of leaning toward the more unusual or interesting cels in the featured cel gallery thing, they're the ones that catch my attention the most anyway.
Personally, I've never submitted a cel for the featured gallery listing. Mostly because I only own four cels. When I have more I probably will though, and I'd be sure to make it a very unique one.
