Bad ebay seller: originalanimearts

I'm with AO. I have never had any problem with them. John has been an absolute dear to deal with. I'm sure whatever happened is just a misunderstanding and will get worked out.

"The honest mistakes that have been made have been resolved by either refunds or the cels being re sent. That's the bottom line."

I disagree. I think months of headaches caused by your unresponsiveness to my repeated attempts to contact you and resolve the situation are an important aspect of the calculus people need to engage in to determine the bottom line in dealing with you.

"I have tried and tried to resolve your anger but you wanted nothing, but yet you continue to try and ruin my rep."

What I want is for people to continue to have access to my experience with you; I have updated this thread with relevant information such as you finally contacting me after months of not doing so and offering a cel when you realized I was publicly discussing my experience. Hopefully this will encourage others to publicly share their bad experiences with various sellers and thereby encourage problem sellers to reform.

I see no reason to remove the message, tho I did edit the original message in your favor in response to you finally responding to me. I feel it is important to not accept an offer of a cel from you so as to not appear as if I am trying to simply get something from you. You want this to go away, but you are incapable of buying my silence; send me every VHD cel ever made and this thread will remain, edited to reflect that unsolicitedly you sent me every VHD cel ever made. Perhaps you are used to people laying down for a cel. Perhaps you did not treat those people as badly as you treated me. I've been treated badly by other sellers before, but never badly enough to feel such a need to share the experience. Others have shared their experiences concerning you in this thread, and seem happy enough that you sent what they paid for after months of waiting, or that you gave them a free cel. Someone reading this thread will see their responses, and will deal with you as they see fit.

I clearly do not wish to buy from you again; others may feel the same way; others may want to look for your auctions as they realize you carry material appropriate to their interests; it is perfectly relevant to try to determine if you are selling under another name in order to determine whether or not an auction should be engaged in (and while there was a reasonable possibility romanclassics was you, I presented an alternate possibility that turned out to be more or less the explanation (tho that has now been edited out to avoid confusion)). By all means, post here and tell us when you change or add an eBay id. eBay's failure to truly tie IDs to individuals creates this type of informational problem.

This thread has gotten very serious since I last read it. (and it was pretty serious back then).

Closed Ebay accounts? Peoples details posted online?

I was pretty pissed, angry and upset for a few months when I didnt get my cel but this all seems a bit much.

Quite a few people didn't receive goods in a certain time frame. This would imply that something went wrong at one particular point. Not that the seller is out to screw people over. That is why I decided to just leave it in the end. I'm pretty sure he won't be doing this again.

If you have a bad experience with a seller online, by all accounts, leave some form of record of it for other people to see.
If he's amended his ways, leave evidence of that too.

But don't continually pursue details of his accounts, post personal details online and go out to destroy his business. This seems malicious and quite stalker like. It's a little scary to be honest. I could understand if he had continually done this to hundreds of people, like some sellers i've seen on ebay. And you were out to take him down. But he hasn't. Therefore this level of malicious attack seems unwarrented.

I'm not sticking up for his behavior at the time. As I said, I was ready to see him hung drawn and quartered at one point for seeing to not care about an Akira cel being lost in the post (!)

But I really think he's had enough at this point. Don't you?

OK , This has gone on way too long.

Ted made his point , others have expressed their opinion. Enough is Enough.

Those who wish to do business with this seller can if they wish , Those who chose not are free to do so.

I asked earlier for this to be dropped , Now I'm telling All Drop It and Get On With Life.

Hi Ted,

I am sorry that you had these issues. No one likes to have things like this happening. However.......

I too have met John in person and worked with him online through sales of cels and sketches. I have only had 1 problem with him and that's it. I have had approximately 30 sales with him and all went well with the occasional glitch in e-mails exception.

John is a busy man who works in a band that travels all over, as well as work selling Anime Art. I also know he has for sure, up till I last saw him, he had a partner. I understand you had a bad experience but he is a very nice guy and while busy with his life and work, of which we all have, even the best of us can get detained and sidetracked and forget to mail stuff.
