Bad ebay seller: originalanimearts

Why did you agree to feedback withdrawal? Would he not send you the cel if you refused to do so? Did he give you the cel for free (I'd be willing to accept him laundering the numbers for enough cels)? Withdrawing feedback allows him to hide his bad reputation from the raw numbers; eBay needs to allow one sided feedback withdrawals, so we could see how sincere such offers are...

when the cel didn't show after 4 months, i initiated a paypal charge back, to which i was refunded all my money.

he stated he received the cel back in the mail a month ago, emailed me about it, to no response. so he relisted the item this week.

after contacting him, he agreed to sell me the cel again, and dropped the buy it now price from $85 to $55.

i withdrew the neg feedback as it seemed to actually be a once off situation, to which he gave me a full explanation regarding the reasons.

there were certain things he handled badly, like putting items up on ebay while moving house and being unable to respond to inquiries about the location of said items. but he seems to be genuinely making an effort to make up for this.
the details of my neg are still up there for people to read.

from what i've now learned, it seems to have been all a big misunderstanding which seemed malicious but actually wasn't.

the item was sent to me in June, but was lacking some of the export details so it sat in the post office and went nowhere. he was moving house and unable to check his email. so didn't see my numerous mails about it.

i think this same problem with export/delivery papers on the item must have happened to a few things he sent out around this time. which would account for the several neg feedbacks all at once.

anyway, hopefully in eight days i'll have my cel and this extremely long drawn out situation will have come to an end.

With my own experiences with this seller, he seems like he might list too much and too often. At least, that's my observation. He continues to list and not get the items shipped as fast as he should.

I've received every single thing I've ever purchased from him. I understand ahead of time there might be a wait but nothing has ever become lost or looked significantly different from the auction. That's all I care about.

There was one mistake. He sold the same auction twice (forgot to switch the image, I imagine). So the item I won was actually won by someone else a week prior. He gave me some options, from which I chose to receive a full refund and a free cel of the same character. The cel he sent was high quality, definitely worth triple digits.

In the end, I was very satisfied. Things happen in life that we sometimes cannot control or make bad decisions concerning. The majority of his feedback is good and if you've dealt with him enough, then you come to understand what to expect. When you sell high volume, there's bound to be postal mistakes eventually. It's impossible to avoid human error.

You also have to realize there is a certain percentage of bad buyers out there. As a seller myself, I've experienced some situations where a buyer has tried to take advantage of me or receive something for free. You can't always know who's trustworthy or not, even with feedback as reference.

When the situation has been compromised by a third party, like the post office, then sometimes you have buyers and sellers not knowing what to believe. An item might get lost and the buyer files a claim but the seller knows they shipped it: so then what are you supposed to do? That's a losing circumstance for everyone involved and you can't squarely blame the buyer or the seller.

You could say it's the buyer's responsibility to ensure everything arrives as it should. But that's only nice in theory. It's not always practical in application. As a seller, you can't predict what the PO will do with a package. You also cannot always confirm the facts given to you by the buyer. I had a certified letter delivered to a non-existent address once. I still have no idea why the PO did that but neither party was satisfied by that ridiculous mistake on the part of the PO. I had proof it was delivered and the other person never received the letter. Now what?

I have not dealt with John for awhile, but I did when he was selling Inuyasha cels and had no troubles at all. I also met him in person at AX, and got some great deals from him.

Obviously, things have changed, but I don't believe he is a terrible seller unless things have completely changed. I started buying cels from him in 2004. I don't think he would still be around if he was that bad. *no I could not read all of the above. It was way too much information.*

This has gone completely out of control.

I'm in no way a bad ebay seller.
I have always provided good service and my customers and my feedback shows for it. The honest mistakes that have been made have been resolved by either refunds or the cels being re sent. That's the bottom line.
I have tried and tried to resolve your anger but you wanted nothing, but yet you continue to try and ruin my rep.

Here is all of my current ebay info, so you wont have to post it and bad mouth me AGAIN.
romanclassics is a friend of mine/collector who bought a bunch of cels from me while my accounts were on hold. He also put some of his own cels up. He mainly has older anime stuff like Akira and Ghost in the Shell stuff.
originalanimearts is back up and will be selling on tuesday which I am sure you are thrilled about.
I also put some anime cels under "animecels" which use to be "originalanimearts2" but I got lucky and the name animecels became available. I'm trying to build up some feedback for this account, which is why you will see my cels on there.
I just wanted to make your life easier by telling you what I'm doing instead of you having to find out by yourself. Hope this helps.
