Why Would...

Count me among those people who don't look at "coming soon" sections. I figure that I'll eventually see the real thing, if it appears.

I've waited for cels that never came. I've received cels that were significantly different from the seller's scan. I've received cels that may or may not have been damaged in transit. My point is that you won't know exactly what you are getting until you receive it, if you do.

And on the positive side, cels often look a lot better in my scanner than they do in someone else's digital photo.

I also like the anticipation of waiting to post something after (1) I have it in my hot little hands, and (2) I have a screencap for it (if possible).

But that's just me talking.

i only use my coming soon section if i know that i wont be able to place a shipping request anytime soon from Japan. ^_^

lately, i don't bother with it because SMJ has such an awesome shipping service. by the time i want to post it, its already at the warehouse in the US. *thinks wow!*

i did do one of those "place my gallery up on the main page with nothing new in it" for the first time a few weeks ago. I just really needed to delete unused categories. I apologize to anyone if it bothered them. You should have seen how long the series list was-and then you'd understand why i had to delete it^^.

it had at least 20 categories.

My Coming Eventually section is purely to piss people off. ~_^

And, since it does, I then don't reload the item when it finally comes in. I just edit it to the appropriate section and let y'all find it if you wish.
