Why Would...

I have my coming soon section hidden. If it shows up on the main page it says 'Coming Soon: HIDDEN' so others will know that it's a hidden section and don't have to click and can avoid my gallery if they want to.

I think it would be nice that the people have the hidden sections on their galleries to add to the names of those galleries *HIDDEN* or something like that. It's really annoying to go to a gallery to see the new cels and to find nothing new. It happened to me a lot of times and would usually ask to myself why they're on the front page announcing something new when there's actually nothing new. Then I learned with this thread the reason.

I get annoyed by people that update their "coming soon" section exclusively, even if it's hidden and marked as such. :/

Thus, I eliminated my coming soon section some time ago. I'd only update it when I did a regular update of other series, but I gave it up after I got tired of seeing so many redundant "coming soon" sections. If a site just updates with a "coming soon!" section, I avoid it.

What I was getting mad about is that for awhie there were ppl updating their gallery with coming soons every day. EVERY DAY. A lot of times things didn't change. It flooded the main page that only shows 6 updated galleries at a time. It gets frustrating after awhile seeing more than half of those being coming soons.

Yes yes i know theres a page that will display more updated galleries. The whole point here is advertising. When you get new cels you want to share them. Feel proud, whatever. Getting bumped by somebody who is contantly updating hidden sections, coming soons with the same stuff, peeved me off when i updated my gallery full of stuff most didn't know about cause I was bumped off the main page so fast.

I've noticed ppl re-adding stuff to their gallery again just to get back on the mian page again cause they were bumped off so fast.

Right now, I could care less about my gallery and what's in it or doesn't get put in it, who sees it who doesnt. Most of it's gone anyway from the last offer period.

I was just irked at ppl constantly spamming their gallery on the main page with coming soons that didn't exist when you got there b/c they were hidden, and ppl updating their coming soon section with the same stuff.

I like Sugars idea of putting HIDDEN" next to items that are hidden. Bravo.
