Cels in cel books

I've been probing Roy to make a book (or as he said an e-book) on this because he always has so much helpful information. If he needs a place to host his site I'll gladly host it for him! ^_^

After July I will have more time to address this and I will get started writing the info E-book.
E, Thanks I will give you a link to it when I'm close to done,I don't think this E-book will ever be finished because there is always a new question that comes along so this book will be ongoing and new stuff added as the need comes around.
Lots of folks have info that would be good for this book so I will ad a part just for info from others so it can be added to the info I post.
Also I'm thinking about adding a question page so I can address direct questions to me.

I don't think there is one person who knows it all so I will take any bits of info given me and compile them into the E-book.

I'm no expert by any means, But I do have lots of tips and other things I have learned over the years from others and some I came up with by myself trying things.
I love to share the info I have and the E-book seems like the best way to share this knowledge with all.
SME, I will have to get my own site because of the high use I can see in the future for this site,And it will eat up some huge bandwith.
But I must Thank you SME for the offer.
One other idea E is to make a sticky post on the RS forums for help and I'll make sure I check it often and help out if I can or send them to someone who can help them out.

This sounds like fun,But it will take me awhile to write it all down as my typing skills are a little bit slow.
Info should always be free to those who wish to learn or teach.
If someone tells you how to do something pass it on down to the new collectors so the info is never lost and it keeps on helping others in the future.

I have another question, I know there are cels bags that are the best for keeping the cels inside... but in my country I can't find those (the same with the cels books). My question is: any regular transparent plastic bag can also be used to keep the cels inside? I don't know if those bags contain some degree of acidity or not (I confess it, Im a total ignorant in the topic). Advises please?

There is a seller on ebay that sells storage bags his ebay name is intenseanime and he only charges shipping costs he does not add handling fees to the total.

Send him a feedback email and he can help you out on the bag side just give him the size item you are storing and he will pick out the right size you need.
The big thing with bags is some of them turn yellow and get real brittle over time,The acid content is not as big a thing as it used to be in the past as most plastics are stable nowdays.
Most clear plastic bags will work but if they are the kind of milky white colored ones they will turn on you in time.
Try to find a comicbook store or book store or any good size art store, Most have some kinds of bags for storage.

Thanks for the tips, ideas and comments. The problem is that I don't live in the US and the cels books and plastic bags for cels are not sold here... you should've seen the way people in some stores have looked at me when I ask if they don't have paper acid-free.

So as the plastic bags for cels are not available here, I thought that maybe the usual transparent plastic bags could work with the cels.
