Do wishlists work?

if anybody has anything on my list theve never offered to sell to me which is probly a good thing

Wow thats a great story! Wish we could track hits on the wishlist page.....

IMO they don't work for some of the reasons listed earlier. I've never had someone approach me offering me a cel or genga based on something they saw from my wishlist. But I've had people buy from me b/c they know I collect the same series they do which the wishlist also confirms to some extend. I only created mine so I can show specific dealers the characters and scenes I am looking for. Odds are they know about the series but I don't want them to work hard, so if I can make their job easier, perhaps they might remember me. I can only hope.

Nobody has ever approached me about a wish list cel, but I keep it up for that slim chance. I have found one wish list cel on my own, the rest are yet to be.

Just to let you all know that you SHOULD keep your wishlists up and updated! Don't get discouraged! What you're looking for may be a long shot, but you just never know! :D
