Spring Peeps

Oops, I ment 10-15 seconds not minutes. Yes, 10-15 minutes would definately make a gooey mess right after they explded all over your microwave. So don't try this at home. I know there are some of you out there that would be tempted to do it. Trust me it's not worth it.

10-15 seconds is just perfect for a nice tasty treat. Then add chocolate & gram crakers for a special Easter sm'ores treat. The kids will love watching & eating them.

HAPPY EASTER !!!!

Oh great. I started a Peeps(TM) War. I never said I didn't like chocolate. Chocolate with caramel is my second favorite candy flavor. The first is good white chocolate. To me, the best Peeps are the black cats they make for Halloween. They look so wicked on the package design. I never nuked Peeps... but I have tried them stale (found some in the closet a few years ago). I think the marketing executive that came up with the large yellow rabbit peep should be shot. THAT is disgusting.
To Peep or not to Peep... that is the question.

I was just watching a news interview with the head of the company that makes Peeps.

When they showed the factory the current production was not Pink Rabbits or Yellow Chicks but Ghosts & Jack-o-lanterns for next Halloween.

The company head then pointed out that Peeps have a "Shelf" life of 18 months so the Peeps you are enjoying may have been left over from last Easter for they sell the old stock 1st.

Makes you wonder about the Stale One's....

Of course, it's fun to microwave them, and watch them swell up to the size of a softball. .. Or light them on fire.. Burn baby, BURN! XD
