First Exhibition ?

Gah. I have nothing. I know I need to be more into the self-promotion thing. I want something that says Rubberslug on it too more than anyone else. As you and a few others on this site know, the "art" gallery thing is definitely the direction I've been wanting to push this site. Anime and cel collecting are in weird places right now. The really hardcore fans are probably on the decline but mainstream acceptance is on the way up. I sort of consider it our responsibility to help maintain a healthy aggregate level of knowledge and visibility about what we do, like the book collectors in Fahrenheit 451. This kind of stuff helps.

Hey, I bet those cels would look fantastic with nifty color backgrounds. *head slap* Now I feel extra bad that I haven't sent those to you for a few months.

Uh, is this happening anytime soon? I can express some backgrounds to you on Wednesday if you have at least a week to prep. Not today though, or tomorrow.

Wow,, you guys have great ideas.. whatever you have send it! At least I can include or toss out whatever is needed, can be used, or not. I cannot imagine not having too much though.

Also Roy those are GREAT ideas about displays.. I will look into most definitely. I don't know how much wall space that I will have.. but I will check into it. And also, a complete set-up as you've suggestive would be a nice instructive piece, and would look nice right next to a Rubberslug specialized cel.. =) Jn, maybe you can hype that one.

Again, it depends on what the art hosts have in mind.

I have to get it all together by the second week in February. So, start mailing whatever you can. If you've lost my address just email me. Hey, even a t-shirt or something would be cool wouldn't it? I could where it to the opening party, where there are always plenty of guests.

I am all for helping out, so use me as a conduit while you can for this. I will funnel as much as you feed be as I can.

It always pays to advertise.. especially when it is this cheap.
