Ratings: Dare I ask?

As a thank-you to sponsors to give them something a little extra, would anyone take great offense if I gave sponsors access to the lists of the top rated galleries in each catagory? I already look at this list every so often to look at neat collections and gallery designs.

In the past, "rewarding" galleries that people like has been seen by some as a slight to galleries that weren't as widely recognized. The way I see it, admiring someone else's collection in no way detracts from my own enjoyment of the hobby. But that's just my opinion.

Variations on this idea include:

- a non-ordered listing of the highest rated galleries
- a non-ordered listing of a random selection of high-rated galleries
- insert your suggestion here.

If it's going to be some super-competitive thing, than I won't do it. I would like to give something extra back to sponsors though.

As it is now, I can turn on the lists for sponsors in a matter of minutes. I just need you all to sign off on the idea.

As an incentive, I'd like to add that everyone currently high of the lists really do belong there. Some of the members here are absolutely astounding in terms of their collections and intimate knowledge of the hobby.

Sounds like fun! I know I enjoy going into other gallery and seeing what else is out there. Also helps me decide on future anime purchases! I hate badly drawn anime!

To be honest I spend a lot of time looking at other peoples galleries, so the more that are brought to my attention the better.

I'm always checking out other collectors awesome gallery design and cel collections. That's why I have such a long list of galleries on my info page. ^_~

Yes, I think it is a smashing idea. I think distributing free candy canes is even better though. The blueberry swirl to the exact. Whichever comes first...
