Anime vs. Cartoons?

I was rumbling around the net and low and behold some funny stuff:

Wow anime plagiarism for college courses??(I almost fell-over)! =)

and
maybe interesting:

But... my e-mails have better grammar than that first paper. That's not a good sign.

I find the second one offensive because they included a Pinky screencap instead of a Yakko, Wakko, and Dot screencap to represent American cartoons. Factwise, rarely anyone animates at 30 frames per second. They animate on the twos or threes. Most anime you watch is 12-15 drawings per second, max.

Oh, and also because I'd bet that it was mostly lifted from the one or two books on the subject of Japanese animation. Unless that's what you were implying.

If anyone wants an poorly researched anime essay, I can make one up in about 30 minutes. It'll be about... hmmm... the affects of American influence during Wold War 2 reconstruction on the collective Japanese creative base (including animation, manga, and really stupid game shows).

That smacks of D-. Bet it scores higher than that first paper. Egads.

Well NW,
Anyone who would print out someone else's work sight unseen, and turn it in as their own, deserves less than a D-. XD

Are you kidding?? I didn't even bother to read past the titles.. It was just some "bizarre thing" seen on the web.

If this is true, that means that there is -- ACTUALLY -- a "Mickey Mouse" class?? That is funnier then I thought =)

What do you think about this (Sensei) professor? I know that you're out there somewhere?
