Anime vs. Cartoons?

Heh, funny stuff. Plagurism is the worst thing if you're affected- one guy ripped off half of my website including my original review/description of a particular anime and declared it as his own work. I was initially shocked then very angry at his laziness and blatant arrogance.
On the flipside however, another guy wrote an essay featuring me entitled "Examples of Excellence" which was a boost to my ego and is still available online XD

What baffles me is how people can write so many essays when they have little personal experience on the subject and few professional resources to aid them. when I wrote my dissertation I used 30+ references but I doubt I could manage that with an Anime essay.

i only looked at the titles. not worth reading.

am i the only one that gets irked when thay call american cartoons, anime? i perfer to call the american ones, animation. maybe it's just me.
