Why is noisywalrus so quiet? Noisywalrus got a phone call on Friday night saying that he had to be in a different city for a wedding on Saturday.

Key lime is regional? Didn't know that. If we're going truly freestyle and have the ability to pick any pie-like object, then I'd have to go with the Texas Turtle Cheesecake that they serve at a local coffee house here called Mozart's. I know they buy the cheesecake from somewhere else, but I never remember to ask the origin. I'm not much of a sweets person in general, though, as I have been known to only be able to eat half a brownie minus any icing before getting overloaded with sugar.

Hmmph. You didn't list egg custard pie. Apple will have to do.

Is keylime pie green? It doesn't sound edible. >.<

Why isn't chocalate pie in this poll? Chocalate pie IS the best. I chose pecan since that is a close second favorite. Still though, us sugaraholics need the chocalate... simply can not live without it.

Key Lime started out as regional (the real version is made from FL Key Limes) but there are lousy versions of it all over the place. Chocolate sounds delicious. I'm kind of a fan of coconut cream pie, though. Now everyone will be making faces at me. Coconut? Yeeecch!

Good Key lime pie is the best stuff ever. ^_^ It's generally a sort of off-white, leaning to the greenish side.
