fixing the interface

I'm confused. What buttons are disappearing and such? I pretty sure I didn't do anything that would cause a button to a vanish or reappear. The security feature I was referring to just checks to see what you're editing when you click the submit button.

Can you make a link that is uneditable on your links page so I can go in an test for myself? I tried to find a link that I couldn't edit and couldn't come up with one.

Uh. Wow. That sucked. That was a tough one. I had to take a nap to figure that one out because it was giving me a headache at around 5pm.

It's fixed, you can change the descriptions on those nodes at your leisure now. It turns out that the bug only pops up when you start having lots of links under a node with a long description.

I am *very* thankful we found this one, because I'm about to redo the entire item database (50k cels, 150k images) using essentially the same code as the links section. We've wanted nestable series and unlimited images per item in the cel gallery module for a long, long time and I'm getting up off my lazy butt to finally do it.

It seems on the surface to be not important, but the code that governs how the links section is managed has to be *perfect* for this reason. Please, please keep trying to break it.

Dinnertime! (at 11:45pm, woot!)

side note: line returns (spaces when you hit return while typing a description) are not being displayed... I'll write that one up later.

Sketches are now displaying at 360 pixels across regardless of their original size. Is this a bug or feature?

Bug. I wouldn't ever pick 360 on purpose, I don't think. Maybe I linked the wrong file when I fixed it?

*tinker tinker*

Yeah, looks like I hooked up a file to scale all the images down to 300. I honestly don't even remember doing that. I was probably testing something and never put it back. I'll fix it later today.

Ack! I was just editing a cel description in one window when I opened up another cel editing window. Then when I tried to save the changes I'd made to the first cel's description, the second cel appeared in the first cel's series folder and had its description replaced with the newly edited version of the first cel's description. The first cel is still in the same folder with its old description.

Any ideas? Should I stop trying to edit more than one cel description at a time?
