Advice for people new to cel collecting.

Could you explain what exactly is BG bleed? what it does and how to notice it?

BG bleed is when the colors from the background leech into the painted portion of the cel, causing those colors to change. It usually causes darkening of the areas affected. I've had this happen when a cel is placed directly onto a dark background and is allowed to stay on that background for years.

i tried to create an account few month ago on anime beta but i couldn't.. what the point to create a forum if nobody can sign in ?

The point is to protect it from spamming, which we've had a problem with in the past.

She is correct on BG bleed it can be absolutely horrendous sometimes you can catch it early I ALWAYS recommend you keep BGs and Cels seperate!
