How many gallery transfers?
I found Rubberslug while searching for cels. And after joining a cel forum, other members of that forum had RS sites. So I took the plunge too. I've thought of making my own site, but it's hard to come up with a better design idea that doesn't take tons of time to make. I gave up on that idea and I'm happy here! ^_^
It will be the second year anniversary of my gallery this Sat. the 13th!!! :P

I also found rubberslug a while back simply looking for animation cels. I ended up making my own gallery before I knew rubberslug was not only free, but easy to code. Now, for nostalgia sake, I keep both my rubberslug and original galleries open side by side, each containing artwork that the other doesn't. Heh, I'm trixy like that...
I guess I'm one of the few who had a gallery on Geocities... stupid bandwidth limitation only one or two people could see my gallery per hour and when I gave an update I'd post it on the boards and e-mail my friends the update and most of them couldn't see the cels.
I found RS from a link off a sig from www.animeondvd.com user and signed up.

This is the first place I've ever started a cel gallery.
I found out about this site while looking for other cel galleries. It seemed like a great place, but I didn't actually make my own gallery until much later on. By then, I had a little more variety to my collection.
I am very thankful that you created this site, Mr. Jason, and I will make a donation one of these days, I swear!
I was also thrown off a little by the name... I thought "what do rubber slugs have to do with cel galleries?"
I must admit that I still don't know the answer to that question
'-'
I didn't start here but it seems that I have slowly moved over to this site almost completely.
I actually still do have a website for my cels but I have some little problems with these things called 'patience' and 'attention span' so I decided it was much nicer here *l*
I just love how simple it is to maintain. It's so much easier than trying to code all the stuff yourself and if you're like me you tend to bite off more than you can chew when it comes to building a website..
Don't get me wrong though, I would love to get my site up and running the way I want it to be but my time is also a factor in this. It's going to be a long term project for me ^^;
edit :
Oh yeah, I found out about this site by looking at other people's galleries on here and through Anime-Beta :)
