Anime Beta Status?

I'm certainly willing to help with decision-making, though I do not have the technical expertise to do some of the work that obviously needs to be done.

The immediate crisis is over; the domain name is renewed, and the site is back in business. Obviously the administrative team have to get a bunch of technical matters resolved for good and develop an emergency system for communicating when the site is down. Apologies to all who were inconvenienced!
