Ideas to improve our RS community

I saw this little voting block on the RS main page and it got me thinking of how to improve RS. These were my top ideas:

1.) Giving people the ability to send and receive messages via RS not thru your email.

2.) Get the background sharing up and running.

3.) Rate individual cels. (This could be good or bad)

4.) Giving us the ability to delete old items out of our "Popular Items" option. (This might exist but I have been unable to do it)

5.) Not having your views and visits count in your gallery totals.

6.) An "Info" tag at the top of RS home page that takes you to different types of pages all within RS, with Cel / Animation related issues. ie: proper care of Cels, framing techniques, removing stuck Cels, ect.)

7.) A directory of Cel galleries that sell Cel's

****This is A LOT I know*** I love RS and was just thinking of ways to improve this site. I in no way know how much work would go into these requests and I am in no way unhappy with RS. I just really like this site and since they were having us vote I thought I would create this forum to maybe spark ideas. Thank you! ***

8) Give us the ability to organize sections in ratio to paper vs plastic; chunking production art by title instead of tons of individual sections with the same name repetitively

9) Update the Search database

10) Delete "dead" galleries (example: Luna Illuminata)

11) Sponsors be given more board time and given ability to choose the 3 images that are posted synonymously with our Gallery's Name under Galleries Tab

I'd like to have an option to include a second layer between my home page and the links to individual pages. Now my home page looks cluttered as it has a long line of individual gallery links. But the alternative is to have fewer galleries but make them each too big to search, making visitors go through page after page of galleries.

If I could provide a gateway page that simply had series titles, then visitors could click a title and see only the galleries that divvy up my holdings in that series thematically. That would make the gallery easier to explore and make the home page less cluttery.

I just want the old RS back. Everything worked there was no need to half-update a new format then bail

Also would like to see the rules enforced. Some galleries are linked to ebay and using there site for sales only.

Would be nice for Jason to return emails

Would be REALLY nice for some structure to return to RS.
