anime beta down?

Sadly it's not a matter of renewal. The host claims this little forum is sacking the resources on the web server to the point it was affecting all the sites on the box. They refuse to restore the site unless I move it to a dedicated box at more than 6 times the cost of the service I already paid for. That's not going to happen so I'm forced to find another host and move everything again. I think part of the issue is the legacy code Beta's built in. This is finally going to force me to do the upgrade I've been putting off for over a year. I'm hoping to get the site moved and back up sometime this weekend.

I did contact Goldknight by text last night and I'm sure they are working on getting whatever is going on fixed as soon as possible.

And as I post it seems Magician is already on the case.

That's bad news, magician. Just FYI, I was getting off-and-on 500 internal server errors shortly before the host suspended you.

I pay several hundred a year for a virtual private server + my own CPanel license with an excellent hosting company. Most folks have probably never heard of this company because it doesn't ever make those top-ten hosting sites (they primarily host commercial accounts), but my account has proven to be worth every penny--almost zero downtime, fast, intelligent tech responses & no B.S. I think only once did I have a server issue, which they investigated and solved very quickly. I would recommend them to you, but I'd imagine the cost is higher than you'd want to pay.
