Yahoo or E-bay?

As far as cels go, E-Bay is better. I sell on Yahoo (not cels) because I think the listing is cheaper and easier, but I buy on both auction sites. If you're going to sell cels (that sounds so stupid) E-Bay is the place.

I buy ten cels from Yahoo Japan for every one I get on eBay now. Better selection, fewer surprises.

The AnimeChaos Deputy Service is easier to use, though they like Celga ask for a deposit. The shipping costs are very competitive, since the person running it has your YJ winnings shipped regularly to him along with his own purchases, so you essentially pay only for shipping in Japan, then shipping in the US, rather than international postage. It also allows for real-time bidding, which is an advantage especially when you get competition for something you really want during the closing minutes. For info, go to http://www.animechaos.com/deputy/

A
good translation site is http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation/
Cut and paste the description into the URL site and click the second button just below (that's the one that says in kanji "Japanese to English"). The renderings you get are much more understandable than the ones you get through Babelfish.

If you can cut and paste Japanese text, you can get a quicker translation from the same service by going to http://nifty.amikai.com/amiweb/browser.jsp
Select
"translate text," then "Japanese > English" in the menu of the pop-up box. Then paste the Japanese in the top box, hit "Translate," and voila!

Thanks for the tip on animechaos. They seem like they will be FAR easier to use than Celga.
