new! upload your feature images

Hi. Got sidetracked for about two weeks on some home renovation stuff. I've got quite a bit of the member area done. The ability to upload new items to your gallery should be ready for prime time.

The market is not so ready. Wouldn't use that until I get it totally sorted out. I'll let you know.

The big news is that feature uploading is now available. Features may be a sponsor-only thing in the future (as suggested by people on this forum) but for now I'm opening it up to everyone to make sure all the bugs are out.

You'll need to be logged in to the beta site to do it. Once you upload a feature, a friendly moderator or admin will have to approve it. After approval, it should be on the home page.

I uploaded (and approved, roar!) a feature image for myself. It's a Maison Ikkoku cel that I never added to my personal gallery.

Just to clarify, these feature images won't show up on the main site until we switch over. However, I've already approved 2 new images so there's 3 total in the rotation now. Yay!

Whoops! I forgot to trim the edges of mine...sorry! I'll fix it now.....

Nah, it's all good. Send and we'll reapprove. If you upload a new image, it will automagically replace the one you have.

I think it's not sending out "you're been approved/denied" e-mails yet though. Grrr.

Successfully uploaded feature image via Windows 7 PC. However, "Select New Feature Image" button did not select image when attempted on Macintosh PowerPC G5 running Mac OS X 10.5.8 using Safari 5.0.2. However, image selection & upload worked on Mac using FireFox 3.6.12.
