Also, Sonic is a HUGE animation and gaming icon who has spawned multiple animated series and movies - some Anime and some American animation.

Unico - because he was created by Tezuka and because so many Last Unicorn collectors also have an interest in Unico.

As for the series/feature thumbnails: I think they are a great idea! Just looking at through all of them was making my mouth water to view Anime and I've never seen. It also brought back a lot of nostalgia for series and features I watched as a kid. I think the same thing will happen for other people who visit the site - it will spark their love for animation and make them want to visit our galleries. Jason, you did a great job of finding good picture representations of each series.

If people are turned off by the thumbnails, maybe there can be an option that they click at the top of the page to view all of the listings as text only.

And I think it would help people if you separated the listings into two groups - Anime and American Animation. I think most people separate them in their mind anyway and it would give them a good starting point from which to search - they would have the choice of searching through Popular, Alphabetical, Anime, or American animation listings.

If that last idea is implemented, I would suggest you use "Western" instead of "American"; while still problematic, it would be more true for the various Canadian, European, etc. shows.

I think the title has a lot of crossover appeal. It?s loved by Anime, comic book, and videogame fans.



Astroboy / Tetsuwan Atom
Only 10 artwork search returns and 4 Animation Title Search Matches.

Similar to what Mickey is to Disney, and what Spiderman is to Marvel, Astroboy is a well known symbol of Tezuka, the father of Japanese Animation.
