Blackout Blame

Hmmm... who do you people think is to blame for this blackout mess across the Eastern USA? I didn't have any power for over 24 hours and STILL had to go to work. I need a list of names to track down and kill.

Well if you listen to coast to coast am (art bell) really spooky aliens did it. I would rather believe that a little old gray haired lady in rural Ohio forgot to unplug her curling iron befor turning on her air conditioner. either way it's just more proof that the system is way out of date. Also what idiot forgets to put back up generatiors in airports put him on the track down and kill list.

Wow, there's no backup generators in airports? Didn't any of them see Die Hard 2?

Some do and some don't. If they do it's just have enough power to keep the lights on and thats it. Here is a list of airports that went down in the black out. JFK, NY Laguerdia, Newerk, Clevland, Detroit, Lansing, and I think Albany. It basicly screwed up my whole night and I live in North Dakota.

Hmm.... that stinks.

If it's any consolation, I... uh.... got caught running in 50mph wind thunderstorm in an open field last week. On the way back, there were a dozen large car-sized tree parts lying in the road I ran on 10 minutes prior.

Oh, yeah, the point of that anecdote was that I lost power for 8 hours and my Limited Edition Dreyer's Girl Scout Cookie Ice Cream I've been hoarding got melty.

Er... I suppose whatever your problem was was much worse.
