I hope we can work something out. The baby is too young to care, but I hope to watch Totoro with her in 5 years and she hopefully will like the fan cels (as versus being scared by Totoro, which is also a possibility I guess @_@.)

I'd say "fake" or fan-cel since the line work is very sloppy, not at all the quality of Miyazaki's standards. Also on the top left of the belly you can see where the ink was not yet dry when they started painting the cel from the back and caused the ink to bleed into the paint color. I hope they didnt take you for alot of money :(
